Vespertine is eternal, agreed

But when these icy beat towers hit you, there ain't no going back. So many indelible lines from this on my brain, too. Fountain of blood in the shape of a girl and how she sings it, god damn

for sure. One of those songs where I could tell I was hearing something special on first listen. Woke up the next day excited to play the album again.

This was an instant hit for me, Verspertine was the biggest grower out of her fab 4.

This and Vespertine were both pretty instant for me. If anything, Post has been the biggest grower. Debut was also instant in a completely different way. Such a fun album.

The second half of Vespertine has still yet to fully grow on me but it could still happen one day

As far as tracks, All is Full of Love took a long time to embrace. I still prefer the trip hop version though.

If you listen to the album long enough, the second half of Vespertine will eventually reveal itself to you as the superior half.

I will never forget listening to Joga for the first time on my friend's car and feeling the universe opening up while cosmic rays of joy penetrated my dingle jingles. I was stoned to the point of no return so that helped too I guess.

Doesn't check out, Dewi, you sound pretty returned.

Had to let you back to join the ranks of Bjork prophets preaching the good news. Found some golden vinyl buried in Iceland with the truth etched into the ridges.
