agreed! it has it's own unique atmosphere on it, I think it does kinda envelop the ancient celestial feeling it's aiming for. Kinda has a wandering post rock feel to it throughout. It's not bad, just a little.. Pale... in comparison to the rest of their discog.

As always Agalloch shot for a certain atmosphere (here I guess some sort of cosmic progressive post-metal/rock) and just hit the mark. I still can't believe I miss their last tour promoting this with Musk Ox as support..
