Only songs I don’t fw are crawling and runaway, latter just because the breakdown is still lame even with the nostalgia. Even as a kid I thought it was goofy as hell. Still dig the electronic production on it tho

"Fair, although the entire album kinda does that shit lyrically."
Let's do top 3 LP songs lyrically, that sounds more fun and actually harder lol
I'd probably pick The Catalyst, Breaking the habit and New Divide
Honorable mentions are Little Things Give You Away, One More Light and With You

It’ll probably be 95% tracks from MTM or ATS as they’re typically the better songs lyrically.

listened to this a bunch more times the past couple weeks and going back to it after deftones is so bizarre. honestly it is just too damn edgy. the doom and gloom gets tiring. meteora kind of distilled everything i like about this record into something more palatable but also gave it more heart. this was a bomb on the music landscape but that's maybe the best thing about it
crawling and in the end will always be some fucking GOAT songs tho

everytime I recheck this, I always expect it to be typical dated early 2000's edgelordcore. While it's definitely a product of its time, I am always reminded that alot of the stuff here is pretty damn good.
Meteora > this tho
