Never seen this high of a rating from you

Most of the time people only notice when I go to albums I have rated with a 3.5 or less, but to be fair only a few of my 4.5s and only one of my 5.0s have reviews, and the threads of those reviews don't receive a lot of posts (a reason why I prefer to comment in albums that I don't like as much as most people around here) so it makes sense that you haven't seen a rating this high.

This fucking album is 100 minutes long and the length isn’t an issue at all. Never a single dull moment, that’s how you know it’s a classic. m/

I think the biggest problem I have w this is the length, that and that the last song delves into too much wank before showing us its beauty

Animals I thought I saw you declare Wait of the World your favorite on here a while ago?
My biggest issues with this are how some of it sounds a bit too gimmicky and extreme to the point of not being enjoyable to listen to, mainly The Black Stone and Vision Adjustment.

its still probably my favorite because the last half is the best thing ever

Album Rating: 4.0
the only thing I remember about this is how bad the vocals in the black stone are
|
| |
not that bad
|
| |
The vocals in that track aren't bad but they are one of the few reasons, maybe even the only reason, why I don't give this a higher rating.

Album Rating: 4.5
that track (the black stone) is just so odd compared to the other songs, its entire first half is understandably off putting to most, but I always saw it as a kind of initiation into the album of sorts

I mean you're wrong but it rules and I'd love to hear your case...

Album Rating: 4.5
that ominous melody in the beginning, that complete breakdown in the middle, the avantgarde chaos that follows and then the raging storm before one of the most beautiful outros i've ever heard. what's not to love?
everything flows seamlessly and not a second is wasted, which often times can be a problem with toby

One does not need to be to appreciate said song.

Coffins is amazing but it has its problems at times. Mortality and Spirit Photography are perfection tho, two of Toby's best.
