I know this is supposed to sound bleak and give a sense of isolation and what not I just don't think it does a very good job of that lol. Agreed with pots that this is their weakest lp by a mile. Like, their next weakest album is still 2 letter grades better than this lol. Nothing is real is fantastic though. Jacquard is slightly overrated but pretty great. Almost everything else is a big fat meh for me

man 2013 was a great year for music, but this album really took a lot of wind out of its sails. I remember the lot of us on Facebook eagerly awaiting this to download, jamming it together and thinking wtf, this is what we waited for? Ive maybe listened to it twice since, and am always surprised to see when this thread is bumped.

Yeah the hype around this was unreal. I made a huge thing out of listening to it. Got some really good food, my favourite beer, and smoked a J and was thoroughly disappointed when listening to it lmfao. I'd say the new Mr. Bungle evoked a similar level of disappointment but that wouldn't strictly speaking be accurate, since I knew going into it that it would be shit
