The structuring is much more complex and the dynamics are much better, but if you want something
with just melodic tremelos and blast beats, Rodes easily beats this.

roads has some really beautiful parts but this is the more accomplished album. still worth checking though if you dig this. violet and unrequited in particular could stand up to anything on here (cept dream house)

Roads has plenty of great moments, but this beats it across the board, in my opinion, especially in the vocals and overall composition.

agreed. this album takes the scope of roads and melds it with the more infectious sound of their demo in a really effective way. compositions are much better now than before, but violet is as moving as anything on here regardless.
