Sweet Sweet has a great melody and lyrics I just wish it was about a minute longer
Luna is kinda boring and should've been sung by D'arcy instead of Corgan

Awesome man. I should jam jazz more eventually, it's a genre I've left unattended.
I've only heard Bitches' Brew from Davis, and only once sadly.
|
| |
should check out some Mingus, he's prob my favourite right now. Davis is obviously awesome too. it's something i'm trying to get more into as well, very mood dependent music though.
and I guess I oughta re-jam Melon Collie, not heard disc 2 in eons. didn't realize Darcy even sang on it lol.

Yeah she and James both have way better voices than Corgan but they only sing a couple songs each ah well
Disc 2 of Mellon Collie > Disc 1 though

damn that's certainly an unpopular opinion
gotta break out my discs soon

@demi: Yeah, I've only heard Mingus Ah-Um from Mingus. I've also listened to Herbie Hancock (Headhunters) and Mahavishnu Orchestra (I think only IMF in full properly + perhaps a portion of BoF).
So yeah, I'll see if I can make room for jazz in May maybe. Enjoy dem jamz dude.

Black Saint and the Sinner Lady's what got me really into the style, i'd def recommend it. real gripping yet relaxing stuff.
headhunters is probably my second fav, the bass on that is delicious. can't say I've jammed Mahavishnu though. been meaning to but y'know... so much stuff to jam.

disc 2 is good up until/including xyu and then it's shit
|
| |
disc 1 just rocks so hard and that's the style of Pumpkins I love best, so hit or miss when they're experimenting and stuff

"disc 2 is good up until/including xyu and then it's shit"
You're ignoring By Starlight which is top 5 songs on the albums
"disc 1 just rocks so hard"

Agreed so hard, this is prob the main reason why I don't love Adore as much as other folk. Don't get me wrong, quite a few tracks there are dece, but overall, it's not the SP I love.
Still destroys Machina II though.

D'Arcy's voice has so much studio magic tacked onto it, she sounds horrendous in live performances
Agreed about By Starlight. That song is breathtaking.
