Messengers will always win, even though I love this.

I'm changing my rating a little higher. I do understand that a lot of people were slightly dissapointed with this album, as Constellations was held up very high. But I honestly think this may be my favorite (or on par with constellations) abr album. 1.) Production isn't that bad, especially when you blast it as loud as you can, quality seems better. 2.) Although the mind-crushing breakdowns and chugs you all love have been lowered down, I feel this album has much more emotion in it. Just my take on it I felt like sharing :P

I can imitate anyone's vocals, except for Dustin's at the end of Carpe Diem when he says "You proved me wrong!" That shit will give anyone a throat rash.

"Although the mind-crushing breakdowns and chugs you all love have been lowered down"
Still too many and they're capable of not using any, which I hope is the case on the next album. Still, this is an awesome album.

Not trying to argue with you @Dot, I was just kind of disappointed by the new album. Have you their 1st album Haunt What's Left? It's just way more inspired and creative.

I don't see any problem with production, raw but effective. One of the few -core albums where you can actually give a f**k about what the bassist is doing. Call me mad, but I prefer this to Constellations. Of course, they didn't reinvent anything (Divisions' breakdown = Back Burner one) but they have finally sharpened their style and produced an album that is worth listening from start to end without making the listener want to press "stop" and listen to something else.

it riffs way harder than anything the new album, doesn't got anything that has as much feeling as Subverse. Every song on that album is better dude IMO, go fuck yourself.

LOL, Sorry I forgot they had a first album until yesterday. I actually used to have it a few years ago I just didn't remember it was by TOTA. Okay yeah I fucked up, besides I hear that one is better than HWL, I hardly listened to it when i had it.

Definitely, I still haven't downloaded it again but what I heard from one of the songs on youtube yesterday was quite different. Less melodic and more technical from what I remember, the drums killed.
