This is easily the worst Agalloch album. The band is just that damn good.

Don't be so quick to critique, cause you'll fail.

i love this album too but Crysis listened to this like 6 times before writing this, so it's perfectly okay for him not to like it like we do and it's more than okay for him to review it, especially since the review was well written and justified

even if we disagree

I think "Into the Painted Grey" is the best track they've ever written!

Not even close. It's not even the best on the album.

Idk what the hell the author who wrote the review means when he says that Marrow of the Spirit is the weakest Agalloch album yet.

Ummm...he means it's the weakest. Because it is.

He meant that it's like, weaker than their other albums.

It is my favorite on the album, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the best thing they've ever written.

no way, that song drags like a bitch for me. it's great, like all Agalloch material, but not the best.

How does that song drag for you, but not Black Lake or To Drown?

Agalloch's best song is a toss-up between Falling Snow, Fire Above Ice Below, and The Melancholy Spirit.

Let me rephrase it: Marrow of the Spirit is by FAR the WORST album Agalloch have released.

I've listened to this well over 50 times since it was released and my opinion remains the same as it was on listen number 5.
