Not that much but still it is, I never understood what that structure was. Also, I think it's a couple of hairs better than TGS. "Monument" makes my soul ascend.

I look at it and see cranes, splattered with paint.

Actually no, I first saw it and thought of tire tracks. Then I read some guy's soundoff which mentioned cranes and liked that better.

But then, the less figurative, the better the album.

Jamming this band for the first time, figured I'd start here.

Good starting point.
After this go to The Galilean Satellites. It's their best imo, albeit different from this.

Loving the bass presence and the vocals, very akin to 'you know who' but that's not a bad thing at all.

Yeah, the title track, Je N'en, and Blue Day for Croatia are my favorites off this

Those wailing guitars in Je N'en, adds so much emotion!

Dude, the bass melody on the title track as well as how it flows with the guitar is fucking gnarly. Great album closer.
I need to bump this up. My ratings in general are crazy out-of-date

Not seen you around for a while Zilbel, hope everything is cool.
But yeah I'm definitely liking this mix of melancholic rock and hardcore, it's sorta a typical post metal formula but I like how these guys go about it.

I got bored of sput and just didn't come around often. I'd come here to browse for new jams like once a month and that's it. Figured i'd see what's up. Still boring though
Yeah, this is a really easy listen compared to their first two, more-so their first. But, damn, TGS is perfect.

Bands that push for that space imagery usually do, but I love the stuff

Whole thing is epic I love it. Blue Day for Croatoa is atmospheric as fuck.

least fav LP tbh, can't wait for the new one wich weirdly enough I'm perfectly fine with as far as artwork and title goes (maybe it's that nice green color and unashamed exagerated grandness)
edit: in any case these guys are going for the most lushly ridiculous album titles ever, and in the end I'm more enclined to think of it more as a tongue in cheek thing than serious solid pretense since these dudes are all around pretty self conscious and playful (see: bandcamp pic and interviews)

Ayil bump while I'm at it

Some of this bleeds together for me. But the opener, closer, and Blue Day are all sweet.
