It all depends on events surrounding your life. Certain albums define seasons for me, just because of the time at which I've heard them, or if I have a strong memory to correlate them.

Mmmm yup.

Fun.'s Aim and Ignite will always be a summer album for me.

The Antlers-Hospice will always be Winter.

As Cities Burn- Hell or High Water is Spring.

This is Your Captain Speaking-Storyboard is Fall.

Comparing apples to oranges with the albums I picked, but all of them really describe the feeling for me. Each season is about when I discovered the album too, which goes back to what you said. Ska is really good for the Fall if I do say so myself. Really has that extra bite which I kind of match up with the crackling of leaves as you step on them.

so it's for all AC scrobbled, but still, massive peak at winter (even if it was just because it was newly released)

man, i really tried. time after time. but apart from my girls and summertime clothes, all the songs sound the bloody same. all offbeat uplifting melodies and quirky synth pulses. track . after . track . variation, perhaps?

sorry about the rant, it's just pitchfork blew my expectations up.

if you're talking about covers on shirts there's no question it should be Jane Doe.

if you're talking about albums, I prefer the MMLP
