The chorus on Sons of Belial is annoying and the whole song is basically one giant breakdown other than the chorus.

The tremolo picked riff before the chorus you mean? It doesn't sound like black metal to me. It sounds like thrash. And that is the only redeeming factor for that song. The black metal part on xenochrist rules though
