Shadows Fall is like a weird hybrid of metalcore and thrash. They pull it off perfectly tho.

Noobs that's why

Cause Ghost always brings up thrash and how he hates it for no reason
Also why does it seem like thrash haters always have a lot of emo and modern metalcore in their high ratings
It’s ok to like both

"yeah it's more like 60% of all thrash is trash, which means there is a fuck ton of good stuff to find."
You guys should adopt this mentality

Anacrusis were Underoath's biggest influence. Give them a try

Okay, I must revoke my contrarian status with this album. I've gone from loving this album when I was a kid, to resenting it in my late teens, to loving it again now. I must be on the same wavelength as Tim because he's said basically the same thing when he talks about this album. I'm content With Losing is an insanely underrated deep cut.
