But that’s what it is lol. If you look into their career, they’ve had a pretty privileged one that has allowed them to troll the way they have. Not saying I agree with it mind — in fact I’d argue they’ve mellowed out quite a lot these days with the obtuse mind games

Oh yeah, if you've never seen them then you're going to have a great time. The visuals for their live performances are insane, and they're such a tight band that it's ridiculously impressive no matter what they play.
I've just seen them a number of times since like 2004/2005 (can't remember what year specifically) and I wasn't really expecting to pay hundreds of dollars to see like 80% of my least favorite album lol
And yeah, I agree that they've mellowed out a bit, but that whole attitude just gets dumber and dumber the older I get. The whole "I'm a cool artist so I can be a douchebag" thing is less awesome when you're not a teenager and realize that people are just people aha
