I've always thought this is a really interesting topic. Mind/action control via the *threat* that you possibly could be under surveillance at any given second. whether you are under surveillance at this given moment is unknown, but the threat is there to keep you in line. like the dark domes in stores. are there cameras in all of them? probably not... are they watching you right now? you'll never know, unless you do something they don't like....until then, the threat, just the THREAT, of surveillance keeps you in line.



this kind of surveillance really is all over the place. pretty interesting topic imo. big issues going on with this kind of thing in England I guess for quite a while...

pretty good.

Vocals are just a bit harsh at times in COL & neurosis is just too slow for my liking. Especially a sun that never sets.

For me, neurosis, CoL and ISIS are each their own beast. On any given day, any one of them could blow me away totally unlike anyone else can.



But I am really starting to like mota. From what I've seen it seems like they're written off as a token post metal group and that's unfortunate to me. I think theyre really good too. I just don't dig them on the level of the other 3.

maybe hard to get into at first, but it grows like hell. be sure to check out all theyr stuff too, even the split with Kenoma, theyr all very consistent. Quietly is my favourite album of all time and Ties That Blind has beautyfull atmosphere. yeah.. im a fanboy
