Will do

Stanley Kubrick made a quote that even though it's pretty overused it fits, when he said that all stories were told and now it was up to us to make them better.

Sure music and film/literature isn't the same thing, but at this point there's not really much out there if anything that has never at any point been done before and just got lost in time, so all we can really do now is out do each other

That's basically what Sabbath did; They took a lot from some other group and took it to directions that group wouldn't go to, and made it a standard for a whole subculture based around music. That's enough for the whole ripping off thing to be "Ok" if you ask me.

Zeppelin were way bigger rip offs than Sabbath.

Whats more scary is the short space of time he came up with these riffs in. This was barely 6 months

after the debut

For some weird reason, bands like Zeppelin, Sabbath and Crimson
released their first couple of albums in short periods of time.

I think it had to do with how the music industry was in those days.

I can't stand Ozzy's voice, but otherwise I would agree that this is pretty much perfect.

Most bands wrote while on tour back then. They jammed in between songs.

I prefer quite a few vocalists to Ozzy but he was perfect
for Sabbath.

At least you have this 4.5'd Sal, which is cool.

Interesting info Nero. Indeed, the 70's were a grand
time for music.

He brought the doom better than any vocalist at the time.

"He brought the doom better than any vocalist at the time."

Wasn't he the only vocalist bringing doom? Haha.
