Oh yes the sentiment around Wilson was “put him on a boat to nowhere”. He looked terrible and he was being booed nonstop.
Can’t blame bad conditions when Trevor was doing just fine out there. Probably right that it’s his last game.

It also doesn’t help that 3rd String QB Chris Strevler had as many passing yards in 1.25 quarters as Wilson had all game, and also had 54 rushing yards compared to the rest of the team combining for 12(!) against a below average Jags defense

My only gripe is that I wish Pederson went for the kill before halftime. I could've gone to bed earlier lol.
But like, I'm usually a big proponent of "Stop going on 4th you dumb dumbs" (fire Brandon Staley), but that felt like a no brainer: 4th and basically inches, around the 30yd line or so, one time out, the Jets are reeling, chance to put the dagger in their throat.
Jags controlled the ball so well that it was never much of an issue, but still, Doug's known for being aggressive. Get aggressive!

I remember that, yeah I think they should have gone for it but the weather was pretty bad and they didn’t want to take any risks. They would have really poured it on if they got it on 4th.

In the end it didn't matter, by the time Steveler was in, Jags were very clear in prevent mode and just cruised for the rest of the game.
Had to have been super demoralizing as a Jets fan, Jacksonville left plenty of points on the board simply because they knew New York was never going to advance the ball effectively.

That team has given up. Hackett is not a good coach, but Wilson looks more and more as if he has just never played the QB position before. Regularly makes poor throws, cannot read the field, locks into options, refuses to check down, forces careless throws, holds the ball for an eternity, and is incapable of scrambling.
And Denver now has him until at least 2027
