I dont 3/4's of the albums I find to be trash or mediocre at this point, just the ones that I want to remember for being good so i feel my ratings have stagnated over the years. Hit like 1k 2 years ago and have only slowly gone up even though I feel like I listen to more music than ever.

A good chunk of ratings could be EPs which skews the average length down. I think 40 minutes is a pretty accurate average length for an LP, at least for what I usually jam.

but to the people with more than 5k ratings...are you listening to every album in its entirety? I mean, I don't rate that much because I don't wanna waste my time with music I don't like. On the other hand, I don't feel entitled to rate an album that haven't listened to in its full length. Could also be the reason for my rather high average
