Father Stretch My Hands is like the epitome of what is wrong with this whole album. It's just all over the place. Not too mention, how Kanye pretty much made pt.2 Panda is symbolic for how this is easily Kanye's most phoned in and most unoriginal album in his discog.

I guess that's just one of those inexplicable things: the first time I put this album on, that was where I got really energized. Had never heard "Panda" before but I was like "holy crap this part is perfect". (I also love "Panda", now.)

It's pretty funny how strongly the lyrical elements of both parts contradict or don't seem at all to communicate with each other. Part 1 has "I wanna wake up with you / Beautiful morning" to "If I fuck this model"; Part 2 "Lost my mom to Hollywood" etc. to "I got broads in Atlanta", and both of these apparently represent together some sort of paean to his father/Father. I definitely understand how it seems like he's just not thinking about this stuff at all, lol
