i agree with that which to me makes it not a "good" album under the premise of listening to it as a whole

the length is definitely also a problem for me

i wouldn't mind if every track was a bladelores, irlite, or recks on, but....

seems like you haven't fully appreciated (and appreciated in the sense of fully grasping the texuteres) the record as a whole

there isn't enough time in the day nor enough engaging music on offer to hold my interest for 2 hours

i heard this a few times when it came out, and tracks here and there at my friend's house because he loves autechre. i'm going to re-listen, but even my favourite albums in the world probably wouldn't hold my attention if they were extended to 2 hours. that's a lot of time to sit around and listen to music, unless you have something to do, but then you're probably getting distracted from the music and missing out on a lot of nuances (especially concerning autechre's music). i think this album is probably best enjoyed in spurts

maybe once divided to understand those dividends then later on you'll be able to hear the full 2 hour 11-event

there are infinite feelings tho ive never understood why people call this "emotionless" music

the kind of stuff they make just sort of pinpoints contextually ineffable emotions we arent usually accustomed to having come to the surface.

K you're right, any and all process done with human intervention has feelings and emotions within

and I understand that AE's process works on a similar level to that of surrealists so K this has feels
(too many at times?), still pretty f***in hard to get into though
