What's all this nonsense about ITP being better than this? Wtf. Albums 4-7 are all equally stellar, none being better than the other, period.
Albums 1-3 build up to this massive plateau that no other band (I think) has ever pulled off.

I think symbolic is pretty much the best album ever made. therefore, the others can't be as great. plus TSOP is worst death imo (still a 4)

I dig em both about the same honestly. on average, I probably dig more stripped down, straight dm, but Death's proggy stuff was on another level, especially Symbolic, the feels are fucking crazy dude
