I think The National is the closest thing we have today to Neutral Milk and Matt Berninger is the
closest thing to Nick Caves, which is why seeing them live yesterday was one of the best live
performances I've seen in a long time!
To the comments above me: National opened the show with Anyone's Ghost, and seeing Berninger belt that
out live gave the song a whole new meaning for me.
