i didn't give muse that 'poor man's radiohead' stamp but i guess it's pretty easy to give them such when it's about two british bands dominating the alt rock scene and singing in falsetto

This and 2nd Law are painfully bad, so insipid.

Vocally Thom and Matt do sound very similiar, especially in their early days.

Twilightcore, and their bad attempt at trying to make a Bond style theme.... that wasn't good enough for Bond.

"They did say their next album would be a return to roots so I really have some hope."

Didn't they say that about their last album too?

I never really got the Radiohead vibes past Showbiz and a bit of Origin Of Symmetry honestly, except Animal totally sounds like a Radiohead song but with less crazy lyrics. I feel the critical slamming of the past two albums retaught the band some humility and hopefully they'll write something that'll make me remember why they were my favorite band at one point.

Bold statement. But they were friggin good. BHAR is just as good as them two imo as well.

Yeah, here's hoping Bellamy has gotten over his pretentious ego trip (Y). Agreed BHaR is up to par as the two before it
