Considering the vocals, this seems to be mastodon's weakest album, but its still pretty good. I prefer the instrumental versions of oblivion and divinations too!

From what I've seen of them live they sounded/looked a bit disappointing, but I suppose the

ridiculously complex nature of the music makes replicating it pretty hard.

I saw them in 2009 and also took a look at Live at the Aragon. Pretty much nailed it indeed. But godammit Brent, stay with the guitar and leave the mic.
