None of this drags for me. Oddly enough Tak actually drags for me at points.

Takk... Doesn't drag at all for me. It's an incredibly smooth listen that makes me feel like is little kid running though a jungle. Then again, lately no album has dragged for me since listening to the latest Swans album so I'll try this again to see if it drags anymore.

Untitled 8>>everything

When the drums start building up is one of the best moments ever.

I personally love 1 and 3 more because of their emotional value to me but musically 7 and 8 are probably the best.

Just one thing though, I don't get why people say Agaetis is better than this or even Takk... Yes Agaetis is probably a better post-rock album but this and Takk... have so much more emotion behind them where as Agaetis is kinda emotionless.

Agaetis is straight up boring to me. Don't quite get that one.

It's really interesting musically but it doesn't have what I look for in a Sigur Ros album.

First time I heard Takk... it was my favorite and then I listened to this again which made me cry. Fav Sigur Ros album to this day even if the second half drags a bit.

I thought Takk was weird on first listen because it was my first time jamming SR haha. Not the best place to start with them imo

For me, Takk... was and still is the embodiment of childhood wonder, the feeling of wandering through the jungle with this youthful and adventurous spirit that fills you with bliss.

Basically the best band alive today or ever imo. My favorite band with Simon and Garfunkel coming at a close 2nd. Their music is more beautiful, emotional, and powerful than any other artist I can think of.

Another gem on here is track 5. So subtle yet so sad and powerful.

And Fallen the way you described Takk is exactly how I think of Milano haha best track on Takk.

Track 5 is the weak link for me. It drags far to much despite how beautiful it is.

Nothing is weak on here by any means. The weird thing is, I understand how this drags for some people and I'm actually surprised it doesn't drag for me. It's just too powerful for it to be a drag for me I guess. This record has gotten me through some bad moments in the past year.
