Saw neurosis last night... My god, those riffs live pummel your brain to complete mush by the end of the show. So stoked to have seen them m/ locust star was my fave, unfortunately no TSIB tho still ruled face, probably the sludgiest thing I have ever seen.

that happens when people stack their albums to compare which is stronger and weaker than the other and not see them as individual pieces, deluding themselves in the process. that can actually hurt the enjoyment in the listenings.

yea they're not gonna sound as heavy or vicious as they did when they were YOUNGER, they don't walk through the same path over again since that's not their way, but GODDAMN Scott Kelly still fucking had it here. he still has it. they got heavier again since Sovereign and created a different atmosphere to the other records, and actually added stoner elements to this.
