its not the same but the same principles apply. i can assure you beatles concret tickets were just as aggregious. although im guessing the economy was better back then so probably not as impactful

johnny's take is correct too, you're conflating things and I'm not sure to what end

i think im going to start appendaging my comments with the level that they should take them seriously because it gets lost in translation in text. i get in trouble with this in texts in general and people on this site are particularly susceptible to it: original comment about it being pop music fans fault - 50% serious. second comment about commercialized music - 100%. this comment - 100%

@rob Gf and I had already dropped $200+ a ticket to see her in good seats in my hometown. Used it as a double whammy to visit family. This time we got lucky with resale. Thankfully the show/seltist has been tweaked and was an even better experience than the last. The ticket price/resale market has been fascinating me hard lately as I notice a lot of inconsistencies here in Colorado

What’s her show like?

It's a bunch of her greatest hits and fan favorites with most being shorter versions to help the pacing of the live show. There's a lot of specific choreography and visual work that is done through each "act" of the show. Certain dances and stage props will accompany different songs. The last show really upgraded the production leaning a bit more into electronic style lightings and visuals. If you are a fan at all it is a really fun show worth seeing imo. I'm so grateful we got two different set lists each time we went. The last show had almost every song we could ask for

I saw 2 shows on the Crash tour and it was pretty great. I don’t give a damn about dance choreography as part of a performance but it didn’t seem to distract from her singing. The props and guests and visuals were radical too

Damn, tickets are like £45 to see her over here in the UK. So tempted to go see her but got a baby on the way and moving house so it's all a bit chaotic. Ahhh.

^ That's been one of my favorites since the beginning tbh. Love when that heavy bassline kicks in for the chorus, it's infectious

Finally got around to listening to this along with my GF. By the second playthrough, I was already half-singing along to Club Classics. Certified pop banger, and we need more songs like this in the pop scene. Between this, the new Kesha single, and stuff like Chappell Roan, I'm kinda glad pop is moving away from the more "sad indie-style" trend of the past couple years

Seattle show is that much. The hell if I’m gonna see this show from a chair, or in a well lit room 200 ft from the stage. Maybe I fuggin road trip tho….
