ETF definitely went over people's heads tbqh, especially that final 3-song stretch. the ballad in the middle of that is probably a top 20 song ever for me. I get being critical of everything before and after, but holy shit that one got me through some of the toughest years of my life.

If the opinion is that any lyrics you might be hearing here or on an Escape the Fate record are profound enough to go over people’s heads, than yes you are in dire straits and I’d say you need another go at the whole English syllabus, except I doubt you’ll willingly take on anything older than, like, 2007, so uhh maybe Jericho Brown and Danez Smith will at least help your poetic sensibility?
