The production for sure, even though the production on BMD is awesome too. I just dig the overall atmosphere of Orchid more, probably has a lot to do with the bm influences.

it's so weird cause I feel that the production on BMD does more the atmosphere of the music than Orchid. Then again I'm biased because Katatonia is one of my three favorite bands.

I prefer Orchid over BMD for the acoustic passages and variety, along with Mikael's cleans, but BMD wins in the atmosphere department.
