Loving the new song. The riffage is awesome, probably my favorite they’ve put out so far (guitar-wise)
The proggy mathcore part of their sound is obv quite a barrier for fans outside of those genres… but man if they can continue improving on the catchy/chorus side of things I could see this guys blowing up relatively soon. This song seems like a strong step in that direction

@shadow i mean sure the guitars "sound" good but these riffs are just not it man. sounds like some shit jared dines would come up with for a quick youtube vid, especially that main waco jesus riff
in terms of the catchy choruses they've always had that ability. i think the ultimate problem with these two singles is they aren't going far enough in that direction. they most def have a "setting fire to sleeping giants" in them but the focus isn't there yet

New song is much better than Waco Jesus, despite having a similarly basic song structure it actually sounds like a Callous Daoboys song

nahhhh lead riffs go brrrr, little theater section is great, and rhythmically they do a great job making the song just odd enough

Me from 5 hours ago was a big, fat idiot. This song is great.
And if this band or any band consistently pulled inspiration from "Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants", I'd be very happy

new song rips idk man. It riffs harder than most songs on this record and it’s still got a couple of weird left turns

“hmmmmmm idk about this one. really do not like the direction the guitars have been taken with these new singles, feels pretty generic to me.” [2]
Didn’t jive with it much

Waco Jesus really clicked for me live. Great song.
And these cowards still refuse to play Field Sobriety Practice.

Didn't realize these guys were from ATL; gotta check them out now

"I was listening to Radical and was going to say Waco Jesus is basically an equivalent to White Void if you mix it in the with the context of a full album. After skimming that page I see JohnnyOfTheWell was shitting on that song as well... so, kudos on the consistency."
lmfao just seen this
gonna check whatever the other single was, paws crossed

Carson apparently came out and sang Bloodmeat with Protest the Hero last night, so that's something I need to see live now

Tragic, that’s my favorite song on this
