@Nude not sure of the specifics, but they definitely explored some more unique "non-album" release methods with pacific myth. I think you had to do a monthly subscription to their patreon or something and you would get 1 track per month. Clearly they abandoned whatever the idea was. Pretty hard to go up against such an established medium like 'the album' in most of the rock genres.
