Strobelite/ The Apprentice are dope. If Gorillaz put together some flashy, glossy beats and threw house/ bluesy singers over them, it'd be an easy 4.5.

Apprentice and She's My Collar are fire

Strobelite and Apprentice are so similar stylistically, I'm surprised you can love one and hate the other

the qualifying difference is I like all the vocals on Apprentice (give or take the rapping which is w/e) and the vocals/lyrics on Strobelite are unbelievably shit



it's also a bad rework of a great Plastic Beach outtake which makes me even more inclined to hate it
