my ranking would probably be

Present Tense > Daydreaming > Tinker Tailor > Ful Stop > The Numbers > True Love Waits > Burn The Witch > Identikit > Decks Dark > Glass Eyes > Desert Island Disk

"it doesn't make much sense to me to put strings with an antiquated mix/texture the the opening track that boasts a ton of strings produced in the modern godrich sea change fashion"

but they clearly weren't going for lushness, they were going for brittle and abrasive... Sea Change style strings would have been a much poorer fit for the song's lyrics, and there wouldn't be the same beautiful contrast between the gnashing strings and Thom's reverby chorus vox

Identikit AND Glass Eyes AND Decks Dark are all beautiful songs, they are just among the least remarkable here for me

Strings for Burn the Witch work perfectly well for Burn the Witch, the song as a whole does not work at all in the album

it was written in the HTTT and I think there are even lyrics from it in the sleeve of the HTTT record or something, so that makes sense

You're the only moron if you think I'm one for having a different opinion.

I feel like if Thom Yorke screamed into a microphone for 30 seconds while Jonny Greenwood strummed a G chord you'd have Radiohead fanatics defending it it as amazing ;)

Besides occasionally skipping the 4th track on this every so often, one thing I do strongly dislike about this album is the way the "drums" sound on BTW. Just sounds... cheesy as hell. Like a shitty electric drum kit from 15 years ago.

I like burn the witch as opener but i think it would sound out of place on any other position

Desert Island Disk and True Love Waits (Yeah, I know I'm alone on this one) are the only tracks I can't stand from this record.
