Brilliant. Kid A was totally lost on me at first but everytime I give it a listen now it never fails. How to disappear completely runs deep.
Only one that holds little magic for me is HTTF

First time I listened to OK Computer I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, cause there is no way humans could make music this good.
Karma Police fuckin rules though dude, do you even for a minute there a lost myself?

Oh, somewhere deep inside these bones an emptiness began to grow. There's something out there far from my home; A longing that I never have known

Now:
Pablo - I've listened to it one time so I can't really say
The Bends - Really really really good album and fake plastic trees is thom yorke at his finest
OKC - Kinda wears on me, but it's obviously excellent. Climbing up the Walls is still one of my favorite songs. The music so effectively conveys the message of that song, it's still unbelievable to me.
Kid A - More like Kid 'eh' hahahahaha just kidding it's awesome
Amnesiac - Fav radiohead, Life in a Glasshouse and Pyramid Song are the dopest
HTTT - pfft uhm i don't even know anymore it's good
In Rainbows - I like it a lot less than most
King of Limbs - second fave radiohead, really hope they keep going in that direction if they ever release anything else.

avon they've done better climaxes with their eyes closed (tee hee) and you know it
@skeames Shame about In Rainbows but otherwise swee

I've said this one before but OKC is my generations Darkside. Mainstream stuff that was unlike anything before it. That Paranoid Android vid, the live performances on TV, connected with millions. What a classic and Karma Police fuckin rules.

on a song by song basis i really like in rainbows, but I think it's undeniably the most scattered of the post Bends radiohead albums

Sweet skeamesy. Agreed about fake plastic trees , one of my fave jams
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
hahaha i wouldn't really call it a jam unless your jams involve staring at the ceiling blinking back tears
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.4
@skeames really? I'd say Hail is by far the most scattered
Plus IR has my all-time fave RH song so I'd have to go with that being the best

Album Rating: 4.5
In Rainbows is not scattered, it just doesn't fully deliver like most Radiohead albums. It doesn't feel complete

You speak the truth.
If I could be who you wanted all the time
Fuckin' damn Thom

Oh yeah forgot about HTTT, I'd agree, that is the most scattered.
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
HTTT rules, I don't see how you think it's that scattered though
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.4
In Rainbows would feel more complete if they'd fucked off House of Cards and chucked on Bangers and Last Flowers instead
