yeah it's a great album even it feels like Christain solo most of the time. still their most consistent album and has some of their best melodies, it's what I wanted Vital to be

since this came out my thoughts about this album are "i love it but i don't wanna hear it and get sad" and I think it's now been multiple years since I listened to it.

this is the only album they didn't make all together in the same room. no writing, just recording as well. they all lived in separate cites and just sent files to each other one at a time.

This is actually probably my second favorite Anberlin album after Cities. Armageddon is one of their best songs ever imo.

I think Vital has their best of the heavier/rock side and this has their best of the slower/moody pieces.

That is a band that I don't think I will ever hear the appeal of.

this really does have some top tier Anberlin tracks. Armageddon, Stranger Ways, Dissenter, Losing it All, so many bangers

oddly enough you named none of my favorite tracks on this album (Velvet Covered Brick, Birds of Prey and Hearing Voices)

but yeah as much as I wanted this album (and every Anberlin album since Cities) to be Cities II, this is really good all the way 'round

Atonement and Harbringer are my favorites here.

I actually fairly dislike Velvet Covered Brick. Not as much as Dissenter, but neither do much for me. I looove the rest of the album, tho.

I dig Velvet Colored Brick. I think the only thing I don't dig at all off this is Birds of Prey

Armageddon is one of my favorite tracks by this band ever

I underrated this one for the longest time. Over half of it is top quality Anberlin. Gotta bump it.
