a year ago when i joined this site on my first acc i was super into scene music. i found sputnik because i was looking at the wikipedia page for sempiternal by bring me the horizon and it had it listed for sites that had done reviews of it. so i went on the site and looked up all my favorite bands and everybody thought the sucked lmao. i still listened to them though because sputnik gives them good averages and reviews. but still i tried to get into better music in the genre so i would go on the metalcore and post-hardcore genre charts. and of course it was all like jane doe and we are the romans. i couldn't get into jane doe at all the first couple times i listened to it. so i continued to listen to more modern metalcore and phxc bands while getting recs from people and trying to listen to more revered bands, more modern than old. and slowly from listening to more and more music and being exposed to different styles and learning to appreciate certain aspects in music, nothing's really inaccessible for me anymore. went from sleeping with sirens to the rawest occult bm shit, spoken word over harsh industrial noise, brutal dm and powerviolence in the course of a year. so you've gotta do it at your own pace.

"Well, it is a proven fact that post-human death < pre-human death"
Is that right? well I'll be. what's your source?

my favourite of death is probably symbolic precisely because it's not ~traditional~ death metal, but overall he's right I'll take SBG and leprosy over any ITPs or TSOPs

I'll take any death over TSOP. and yeah Leprosy is better than everything post-human but symbolic but when you throw human and symbolic into the "post-human" category (which I'm assuming we've done since SH ---> Human was by far the biggest stylistic shift for Death) it pretty much annihilates anything you put up against it.
but the point is that DEA7TH rules agreed m///////////////
