Do both the original and the remaster have the needle dropping sound? or is it specific to one version? My version has it, but i don't know if it's the original or the remaster. If it's the remaster, I can't even imagine how cool the original would sound.

only the original was on vinyl so looks like you have that.
the sped up 2007 remaster was on CD. there was also a 2014 remaster on CD which was at the original speed.

There was a limited digipak release recently too, it has the track "War" recorded in 2010 as a bonus.
