I wish deftones could inject more steroid-metal songs like the self-titled. But apparently Chino is moved towards sexual driven songs. I miss the times when deftones meant lifting weight in the gym, now it's the background music to have sex and strip to. Not happy with the change. I can always listen to meshuggah to feel some MALE POWER.

I think the lack of heavy songs is also due Chino's vocal chord surgery after touring for this record. I remember footage of him having big problems to deliver proper screams the years after it. Now he is awesome as never before but I think he doesn't want to damage his vocal chords again
