2nd half of this album is better. Crawl through knives, pacing deaths trail, vanishing light, our infinite struggle. Only first half i really come back to is leeches

Absolutely love this album (and their 2000s output in general) and their old stuff but they're never going back to those days. Was at an In Flames concert a year ago, they played Behind Space, Colony, and The Hive, all to basically no reaction. Audience also trended younger.

A shame too, from Anders' comments before performing these songs, I really did got the feeling the band keeps these older songs in their set in the hopes that the new fans would learn to love the old classics. Only from the Weak was received quite well at least

I'm honestly amazed they played Behind Space, The Hive, and to a lesser degree, Colony live. Haha I guess they're trying to throw old fans a bone at least.

Weird. When I saw them live, people really seemed pretty hyped about the old songs they played. Seemed like they actually got a better crowd response than most of the I, the mask shit

Maybe the newer fans are starting to look into their older albums a bit more and realizing the quality difference ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Major nostalgia with this one. I had every album by them in 10th grade. Never listened to anything they released after this. My buddies and I were bored in chemistry class, so we started a fire in a beaker while listening to this album, just being dumb ass kids. Anyway, the teacher saw it and we got in major trouble and I was wearing an In Flames band tee with a lit match on the front. The administration was grilling me because of the shirt. They thought I was like a pyromaniac lol.

Man, the last 3 songs on this album riff so hard. Not counting your bedtime story as an actual song

I do prefer their older material by a little bit, but honestly, at no point in their career did they riff harder than the 2nd half of this album. The only thing that could've made it better is some less whiny cleans

Subterranean rules, but I think if a lot of the riffs on the 2nd half of this album had been on older albums, they'd be seen differently
