I've always seen this as their last work. It just sounds like the guys wanted to top themselves and summarize their career in one ambitious output and pretty much succeeding at it

@SaneTBP I love it because either way they ended on such a high note. You can interpret their last song as either The End which, you know, even in title is such a satisfying career end and those final four lines which just sum up everything about the Beatles, or you could say their last song is Let It Be which is my favourite Beatles jam. win-win scenario
