it's got a fucking incredible feel and flow, and is definitely unique but gets a little cluttered and
samey too often. if not for the few highlights I wouldn't really to be able to call this album great.
but they are there, and the ones I like, I really fucking like.

yeah after only shallow it gets a little boring and repetitive, in a really weird way I can't explain it. It picks up towards the middle though most of the highlights make up for the lack of memorable songs in the first half

well in that case
i feel like after only shallow which has some drive to it and a great depth in it's noisiness, the next few tracks keep that same level and pace but don't stand out in any way shape or form imo. It picks up towards the middle but theres a good chunk of this that sounds like a mediocre version of the better parts on the record
