oh i guess i did but that was obviously a joke and not serious in the least, seeing how we have pretty much the same taste in most things

love you bbe

ya know what's serious? the new flylo album is serious.

you gonna give UTQC the same tripping treatment you gave cosmo, sniper?

probably not gonna end up being anything like the relationship i had with this album the year it came out, since i don't trip as much these days, but i'd love to get some alone time with utqc in a more 'astral' mind state. the psychedelic influence on it promises it will be rewarding.

i think UTCQ is merely "good" until DMT Song kicks in and great through the end. but from that song on, the album for me also sorta feels like a retread of Cosmogramma too, which is maybe why it's my favorite part of the album. even "DMT Song"/"Nightcaller" (great combo!) is a less effective version of "Mmmmhmmm"/"Do the Astral Plane". (although "all the secrets" is the one song that's both great and not at all like his other stuff, i think.)

See this is how I feel about Cosmogramma. I find the first half of that album to be more interesting than anything... rewarding I guess

I really couldn't get into this too much when it dropped, but I'd guess I probably can now. I'm gonna check out his latest first but I really want to give this a shot too once I'm done.

new one isn't as expansive but it's more colorful and i feel like it has a more focused approach. i'd say it's as good as LA and cosmo, of which i won't pick a favorite.
