That's true but at the same time, not a single Bungle song can make me feel emotion like Just a Man or King for a Day do

Okay yeah, maybe Pink Cigarette, but there's a reason I much prefer California to the other Bungle albums

one of the only songs that can simultaneously bring you to tears and arouse you, while somehow inducing the disparate feelings of both guilt and vindication.

its just pure magic.

bungle is just a lot more enjoyable to me, to me this is more or less a run of the mill alt/metal album so i find it a lot less interesting in comparison

@Jed: The ending of that song is so dark, too. An all around perfect song. I think I've spent about an

hour with one of my friends once sharing our interpretations of the song. Obviously it's about a

suicide note, but that song is so harsh and grave yet so restrained and melancholy that, as you

said...

its just pure magic. [2]

The counting down at the end of Pink Cigarette is so sad and terrifying

yea bro, I've had some great conversations about that song too. Oddly, it doesn't seem like many ppl are comfortable enough with themselves to really investigate the implications of this song.

srsly this song is like a David Lynch movie

My friend wasn't really into Bungle. I just showed him a bunch of their songs and he seemed fascinated enough with them to have conversations about the band with me. Same goes for my cousin, who's a lot older than I am who used to listen to Bungle back in the 90s but hasn't at all lately. It's great to be part of a website full of people who actually like the same music as I do.
