the title track has a pretty dang good riff. But then the vocals show up.

This is a 2.5 but it's a nostalgia 3 because i remember this album vividly from when i was 9

Creed is on the same level as Nickelback, maybe even lower if that's possible due to Scott Stapp being a massive tool.

Amateur band and joke of an album. Generic and bland religious radio rock with some weak lyrics. If the music doesn't turn you off right away, Scott Stapp's dreadful vocal performance will. His 'high notes' are just awful and he tries to smooth things out by over pronouncing the words. Stapp doesn't even have his own style, he just tries to mimic the vocals of Eddie Vedder and he fails hard.

The album cover is a good indication of how garbage this CD is.

"Bullets" is shockingly heavy.

I don't care how Creed is perceived but Hide is still one of my favorite songs of all time.

No.

"Amateur band"

Are you fucking kidding? Mark Tremonti is one talented motherfucker.

"and joke of an album."

It's the worst album of the original trilogy, but it isnt that bad.

"Generic and bland religious radio rock"

Yep, cuz 'Bullets' is so mainstream.

I'm guessing you've only heard 'My Sacrifice' and 'One Last Breath'.

The title track is pretty good. I like some Creed songs, but I don't care that much about them.

Mark Tremonti will always be an amazing guitarist, and it's a shame people shit on Creed because of their abysmal singer and overplayed quasi-JESUSFEARING singles, because Mark rules.
