True, I just don't dig the poppy vibe to it. It's still a sloid track though.

This band really hasn't put out anything of quality since "Dusk and Her Embrace".

Cool cover, though. This Message Edited On 06.23.07

I think Midian is still a quality break. Other than I agree that their new stuff is more poppy, and for people who like rock to be able to brag about being "heavy". Also think what makes this album worse is that it comes off more artificial, maybe even commercial. Back then they had a more naturally evil style. This Message Edited On 06.24.07

Midian had some good songs like Tearing The Veil From Grace and Her Ghost In The Fog, but otherwise didn't standout as much to me.

What! Midian is by far their best album. I guess second best would have to be Dusk and Her Embrace.

Midian is definitely my favorite CoF album.

Man, what is it I don't get? I thought devotees of this band would collectively turn their back on COF after this pile of crap. I'm sorry but using this and Midian in the same sentence is blasphemy. Dani Filth has finally run out of ideas... Feotus of a new day kicking? What an incredibly stupid song - and badly executed at that.

And Dusk and Her Embrace is an absolute classic...I am not biased against COF... but I can't defend this album.

I agree with everything you just said ^^^^^

...and I did turn my back on them after this... this is the only one of their CD's I've never bought.

I think this record's a step in the right direction, personally. I like their old stuff but I'm not a massive fan.

This is the only one I wish I hadnt bought. Its okay but its just boring to me. I guess theyre getting old and slowing down. Im hoping to be surprised by their next one.

thornography was an ok album but lacked timeless songs like the previous albums...the use of Valo in the byronic man was excellent and i dont care what anyone says, HIM is pretty sweet
