I thought a couple songs off the new EP were pretty good but I can see it going either way...

From the live performances I've heard (never in person, mind you) Cove was pretty great and did fantastic at pulling off Anthony's shrieks from their older material. But oh, well. *shrug* I just prefer him.
Personally, I'm looking forward to their new LP.

This type of music usually isn't my thing, but this album is really good. Bury Your Head is my favorite song from this.

Awesome start, seemingly unstoppable potential wasted on mainstream assfucking and original members leaving. Oh well, at least we'll always have Translating the Name and Between Order and Model.

speaking of FFAF comparisons, i have a real problem with the intro to "you're not alone" - listen to FFAF's "Bullet Theory" and you'll see what I mean. I doubt it was intentional, but it's definitely similar.

Voices is the best song on here. I think both Cove and Anthony Green have great vocals, but, other than TSOAF, everytime instruments are involved with Anthony Green (see: Circa Survive), things are seriously lacking.

this band isn't shit without Anthony Green... Cove is 100 percent mediocrity in the full effect! this band went from fantastic to fail with the loss of just one member.

They were NICER APPETIZER the 2 times I've seen them. Cove sounded pretty good, but the 2nd time I saw them they were seemed kind of bored (at the Taste of Chaos).

it bothers me that so many people constantly try to imply that Circa Survive are boring when in fact they are anything but... it seems most fans of shit like new Saosin have the attention span of a house fly... heaven forbid if a band doesn't only play 'fast songs'

I really think this sucks, a few good songs but most don't hold my interest.
