Scurrilous is the most underrated protest album. Some days my favorite. Tapestry tandem so many great tracks and it's got the sing-along cheese I love with this band... This one is just a really great blend of their sound and doesn't overstay its welcome

First time "diminishing returns" has come to mind with the band.
Mouthpiece sounds like a rehash of Palimpsest stuff, except less focussed.
Fishhook is great, The Orchard was a standout on first listen but is pretty much Mist- I enjoyed The Mariner but the rest (the remaining 3 songs lol) needs some time to marinate as all PTH records do.
I was firmly in the double album tin foil hat crew but I think they would've announced it by now.

Every track on this bangs but "Fishhook" is in the top half for me. A little different from what they usually do but the chorus rips, the message is good, and the riffs are there. Have you never had a Pete in your life?

Fishhook is incredible. Sounds more like a Mystery Weekend song than Protest, though.
