Jr check Bizkit's first album

Yeah their debut and significant other are both really good. Choc starfish has some great tracks, especially Boiler and take a look around, but it’s def the album where they began to become a parody of themselves (goofy shit like Rollin and Hot Dog).

They're also the type of band where age matters lol. If you got into them around 12 years old it's funny, heavy, and nostalgic. If you try later it can be pretty cringe for sure

Rollin is an iconic track probably the biggest song of the 2000's
Hot Dog is a great album, tracklist is stacked honestly

I think there’s lots of bands where your like or dislike changes similarly to that meme with the graph with a big hump in the middle. Like for Limp Bizkit for example, I enjoyed it when they came up, then spent years finding them embarrassing, and now I appreciate them again, although in a different way and for different reasons. Also I stopped caring what people think of my music tastes long ago. In fact I’ll frequently say that 80% of the time, when it comes to music, I’ve become a total meat and potatoes guy. Then I have 20% of my time for challenging stuff. Life’s become challenging enough as it is.

Totally agree on that sentiment Kinetic. I also think it would be exhausting to solely listen to "challenging" music all the time. There's an art to more "simple" and straightforward stuff that is underrated and keeps you well rounded.

could not agree more than that. i usually lean more towards more digestible music as well. stuff that is just easy to put on any day and have a good time with. you know what you're in for and can just take it in quick. i'd say like 70% that and 30% more artistic. gotta be in the right mindset to properly consume music that challenges your expectations.

I'm like 90% undigestible music and 10% creed 💅
I'd mention 25% sleep token but they just go in the indigestible bucket with the rest of my too deep to understand arsenal of tunes
