Father and Son is genuinely my favourite track lol

Naraka is my least favourite. Seems like I mostly disagree with the track ratings I saw earlier on AOTY

I like both!
I don't have any I dislike on the album but I guess top five might be 'Time and Space', 'Father and Son', 'Naraka', 'Reason Departs' and maybe 'Memory Death'.
Still getting in to it...

Even after about 15 listens I still feel like I don't really know the album yet. Just so much going on.

Those guitars in Prophecy are so fucking cool.
I genuinely cannot identify any of this as guitar lol

Initially I wasn't really impressed by Inferno
But like every BOC album after like 40 plays it finally it started to grow, and I can feel its magnificence.

Prophecy, Hydrogen, Arena, and Retreat are all right behind it though.

Man, Naraka is so fucking good.
Fantano gave this a 6 lol

I like Naraka, I just think the former half of it is better/hints at something darker.
Yeah that Fantano 6 is disappointing. I think he’s maybe not affording it enough time, but that’s also to be expected for “The internet’s busiest music nerd.” Most of the albums I come to love the most (like this one) tend to not be immediate for me.

I wish the earlier beat came back at the end of Naraka.. the last two minutes fade out with the chant.. thinking it could’ve hit harder with a lil energy comeback at the end
Hitting me after a few listens how epic Word Becomes Flesh is

Hell fucking yes to both of those points ^

Still a fantastic song but the long fade out just feels like a missed opportunity. That beat is classic BoC and I was waiting for it to mix in with that chant at the climax and nada
