I definitely enjoy this but I don’t *love* it. I think it’s a little bloated and a bit same-y to justify the run time. That said, this also isn’t my favourite style so I’m not the target audience, but I also think some of the tracks are a little thin to support the grandiose atmosphere. That said, there’s a lot of moments on here I really like, particularly the riffing and solos, the kinda cheesy adornments are cool, the drumming is really good too. Who knows, I’ll keep it in rotation and we’ll see if it grows on me but I’m landing on a 3.5 for now.
